do one thing everyday that scares you #1

I walked around Italy by myself for the first time today (a little pathetic, I know). In my defense, one of my roommates always starts or ends class at the same time I do, and I enjoy the company.

I put my iPod on shuffle and went to my favorite little cafe for a sandwich, where I ordered without using a word of English. After lunch, I went to Zara, which is a clothing store similar to H&M but 209572 times more European and chic. I bought a pair of fabulous black pants and returned to school for my afternoon class.

My weekend in Rome was unbelievable. I'll post pictures and a more detailed description of what I did/saw later tonight. And hopefully pictures of my flat, as promised. Don't worry-- I'm not avoiding you all... we pick up the Internet from our landlord's office, and it's difficult to catch it long enough to upload pictures. I'll try tonight, though. Ciao!
